in Ladakh, famous for Hemis Festival. Drive back to Leh for the Overnight. |

LEH/LAMAYURU(3440 M)/KAGRIL (2650 M)
Morning drive 120 km/4 hrs to Lamayuru monastery which is set amidst stark and dramatic mountains. Enjoy the spectacular landscape of Lamayuru. After visiting the monastery we further drive 100 kms/4 hrs to Kargil. Overnight in simple hotel. |

KARGIL/RANGDUM (3600 M)
Drive 180 kms/6 hrs on a difficult road to Rangdum. We visit the monastery there on arrival. Overnight in tents. |

06 |
RANGDUM/PADUM (3650 M)
Drive 210 kms/7 hrs over Phenji La (4401 m) to Padum. Overnight in tents. |

07 |
PADUM/ZANGLA/KARSHA/PADUM
Drive with the bus to Zangla to go up to the ruins of the Castle, from where you will have a nice view. The Castle temple has Thankas, wood figures and Kashmiri bronze figures. Come back to Thongde to see the Monastery Castle Marpa Ling, above is the Tshokang and the Maitreya temple. Further to the hanging bridge near Karsha, where we cross the river. Visit Karsha Gompa, the biggest monastery in Zanskar and back. Overnight in Tent. |

PADUM/MONE (3700 M)
We begin the trekking from Padum. High over the Lingti valley we see the Bardan Gompa, with its famous prayer wheel (180 cm high). After visiting further to Mone. Possible to camp opposite monastery. (4-5 hrs trek). Overnight in Tent. |

09 |
MONE/ISHAR/PIPULA
Contine trekking along the Lingti river we reach Ishar and later Pipula our camp place.

10 |
PIPULA/SURLE/PURNE (3650 M)
Again along the Lingti river we trek to Surle and nearby by Purne we will have our camp for 2 nights. (6-7 hrs trek). Overnigfht in Tent. |

11 |
PURNE/PHUGTAL MONASTERY/PURNE
Today we visit Phugtal monastery, it is a one day trip. This monastery is beautiful, placed in a huge cave. ( 4 – 5 hrs trek). Overnight in Tent. |

12 |
PURNE/KURGIAKH (4100 M)
Continue trekking further to another valley , we reach Kurgiakh which is our camping place at 4000 mts. (6-7 hrs). Overnight in Tent. |

13 |
KURGIAKH/LUKUNG (GOMBORANGAN) (4400 M)
The scenery is changing, it is from now on very rocky and we have to cross several times some rivers. Today we camp at 4600 mts. (5-6 hrs trek). Overnight in Tent. |

14 |
LUKUNG/SHINGO LA (5100 M)/CHUMINAKPO (4800 M)
Slowly we waked up from Padum at 3600 mts and today with the Shingo La at 5050 mts. 2 hrs first we have to walk up and after the pass 2 hrs down. Later we reach the Chuminakpo alm at 4600 m. (4-5 hrs trek) Overnight in Tent. |

CHUMINAKPO/ZANSKAR SUMDO (4000 M)
Descent now to the Lahaul valley, about after 7 hrs we reach our camp place but only after traversing a river near Zanskar Sumdo. Overnight in Tent |

ZANSKAR SUMDO/DARCHA (3300 M)/KEYLONG (3348 M)
Again 4-5 hrs walk to Darcha, it is our last trekking day, then drive to Keylong, 2-3 hrs. Overnight in simple hotel. |

KEYLONG/MANALI (2050 M)
We drive over the Rotang pass (3978 m) to Manali, the main town in the Kullu valley. After arrival check-in at hotel. Overnight in hotel. |

MANALI/CHANDIGARH
Drive 300 kms/6-7 hrs to Chandigarh a city planned by renowned swiss architect Le Corbusier. The city is well planned and regulated with wide open roads, gardens and lawns . We visit the city in the afternoon on arrival. Overnight Hotel. |

CHANDIGARH/DELHI
After breakfast we drive 250 Kms/5-6 hrs to Delhi . Rest of the time at leisure. |

DELHI/DEPARTURE
Transfer to the international airport for onward departure. |
