DELHI
Arrival in Delhi. Transfer to hotel. Combined sightseeing of Old & New Delhi, visiting Red Fort, Jama Masjid, Shanti Van, Humayun Tomb, President House, India Gate and Qutab Minar.

DELHI/AGRA
Drive 210 km/ 5 hrs to Agra. En route visit Sikandara, the musoleum of Akbar. Upon arrival proceed for sightseeing, visiting Itmad-ud-Daula’s Tomb and world famous Taj Mahal, built by Shah Jehan in the memory of his beloved wife Mumtaj Mahal. It took 22 years and 20,000 people to build the Taj Mahal.

AGRA/BHARATPUR/KARAULI
Drive 40 kms/1 hr to the sand stone city of Fatehpur Sikri Fort. A further drive of 25 kms/30 min is Keoladeo Ghana National Park. The Park is visited on a Rikshwa, a man driven tricycle. The official figures say that about 415 kinds of birds can be seen in this Sanctuary, about 117 of which migrate from as far as Siberia and China. Thereafter drive 160 km/4 hrs to Karauli, a quaint township founded in 1348. You can experience a serene rural environment here apart from the City Palace and Kaila Devi Temple. Overnight in Heritage Hotel.

KARAULI/JAIPUR
We visit Kaila Devi Temple and the City Palace in the morning. Afternoon drive 190 km/4 hrs to Jaipur which is popularly known as the Pink City because of the pink paint applied to the buildings in its old walled city. In Rajpoot culture, pink was tradionally a colour associated with hospitality. Located at the edge of the Great Indian Desert, Jaipur is the Gateway to Rajasthan. Overnight in Hotel.

JAIPUR
We proceed for the city sightseeing after breakfast. In the morning we make an excursion to Amber Fort, once capital of the Jaipur State, where you go up the Fort on elephant back. Thereafter, we drive back to the city and visit City Palace, Observatory, Wind Palace and local bazaars. Rest of the time at leisure. Overnight in Hotel.

JAIPUR/PUSHKAR
Drive 150 km/3 hrs to Pushkar, an important pilgrim center for Hindus with its Holy Lake around which are many bathing Ghats and a Brahma temple. Pushkar is world famous for its Camel Fair when the town is thronged with tribal people from all over Rajasthan, pilgrims from all over India, film makers and tourists from all over the world. Overnight in Hotel.

PUSHKAR/KOTA
After breakfast we drive 225 kms/5 hrs to Kota. Enroute we visit Bundi which is an example of Rajasthan’s rich culture and tradition. Visit Chambal Garden, Maharao Madho Singh and Government Museums, Jag Mandir, Kota Barrage, Devtaji Haveli, Kansua Temple etc.

KOTA/CHITTAURGARH
Drive to Chittorgarh which is 210 kms/5 hrs drive from Kota. Chittorgarh epitomises valour. Tales are told here of Queen Padmini’s regal beauty and the bloodbath it created, of a princess who was also poetess and of chivalry and Rajput gallantry.

CHITTORGARH/UDAIPUR
Udaipur, founded in 1599 which is also known as the city of lakes is 112 kms/3 hrs drive from Chittorgarh. City sightseeing of Udaipur on arrival, visiting City Palace, Jagdish Temple, Sahelion Ki Bari, the gardens of the maids-of-honour and Lake Pichola.

UDAIPUR/MT ABU
Drive 190 kms./5 hrs to Mt Abu, situated at 1‘200 mts, Mt Abu is the highest point of the Aravali range. It is mainly built around a lake and is surrounded by forested hills.

MT ABU
Sightseeing of Dilwara Jain Temples, built between the 11th and 13th centuries, Adhar Devi Temple carved out of huge rock, a climb of 200 steps lead to the temple. Nakki Lake, at 1200 mts, is studded with little islands.

MT ABU/JODHPUR
Jodhpur is one of the most distinctive princely states of Rajasthan and is 305 kms/7 hrs drive from Mt Abu. After check in the hotel, proceed for sightseeing, visiting, Mehrangarh Fort founded in 1459, Jaswant Thada and Mahamandir.

JODHPUR/JAISALMER
Deep in the heart of Thar Desert, Jaisalmer is one of the last princely bastions in the region. It is 320 kms/7 hrs drive from Jodhour. After arrival in Jaisalmer we visit Jaisalmer Fort, Jain Temples built in 1156 AD, Havelis or Town-mansions celebrated for their architecture.

JAISALMER
Drive till Kanoi, 32 kms. Commence 4 hours Camel Safari till Rawala Camp. Stop for hot lunch. Afterwards start safari again for about 2 hours. Conclude at the sunset point in Sam sand dunes. Drive back 35 kms to hotel in Jaisalmer.

JAISALMER/BIKANER
Drive 330 kms/7 hrs to Bikaner. This desert town with its superb fort is located in the north of Rajasthan and has some wonderful Jain temples and an atmospheric old city.

BIKANER
We visit to Deshnok Temple in the morning where rats are worshipped as they are believed to be sacred. Thereafter we visit Junagarh Fort, Camel Breeding Farm and Jain temples in Old city.

BIKANER/NAVALGARH
Drive 240 km/6 hrs to Navalharh. We visit Mandawa and some other Havelis for which this part of Shekhawati is well known. Dating back to 18th century, walls, ceilings and roofs have been painted in vegetable and stone colours so beautifully that some people call it an Open Air Art Gallery of Rajasthan.

NAVALGARH/DELHI
Drive 240 km to Delhi.

DELHI/DEPARTURE
