Source of Ganges and Kedarnath

Best Season : 1 May - 30 June, 15 Aug. - 15 Oct

Garhwal, bordering Tibet in the Northern part of India has a rich treasure trough of nature. Nanda Devi (7817 m) stands aloft among its high sentinels like Kamet, Trishul and many peaks. No wonder, Gods live here. Almost every village, rivulet and valleys have some or the other associations with Gods. Trekking amongst pilgrims is a chance to see Hindu culture alive. Sources of Yamuna and Ganges, Badrinath and Kedarnath. All these four shrines are the holiest and it is every Hindu’s wish to visit them at least once in their life time. To top it all the pindrop silence of Tapovan, a meadow over Gangotri Glacier is like an amphitheatre of snow clad peaks. Haridwar and Rishikesh, situated on the banks of river Ganga are another two important religious centres that we would visit towards the end of our tour. Here we will see Ashrams, Sadhus and Yoga Centres apart from a melee of pilgrims. This trek is a mini capsule of Indian culture and landscape.
