The Golden Triangle is a perfect window for those who are travelling to India for the first time and want to get a glimpse of the Indian culture and heritage. It is also the perfect holiday for the ones who are only on a short leave. The tour of the three cities of Delhi, Agra and Jaipur are perfect to know a little about the cultural heritage possessed by India. Along with the three cities, add an adventurous Park Safari in Ranthambore National park and take home the magic of Indian wildlife with you.  

The fusion of Old and New in Delhi provides a sharp contrast between what was and what is now; it shows us the changes that the city has witnessed over the years. The Pink City of Jaipur is full of architectural marvels, like the rest of India. The city is bathed in hues of Pink, and is thus known as the Pink City. It boasts of the mighty Amber Fort, the honeycombed Hawa Mahal and the rest. In Ranthambore National park, we take two Safaris to see the elusive and mighty tiger along with other Indian Wildlife. The wonderful experience of the Golden Triangle, with Sawai Madhopur is incomplete without a visit to Agra to see one of the Seven Wonders of the World - Taj Mahal. It draws a perfect closure to the wonderful journey.

DETAILED ITINERARY

 

 

Day 1 - Departure

Depart from your home country.

Day 2 - Delhi

Arrive at the International Airport where you will be warmly received by our representative and transferred to hotel. Later, we do sightseeing of Old Delhi. This part of Delhi has an old world charm to it, with narrow lanes dotted with shops selling almost everything. In these lanes, we take a rickshaw ride, which is an amusing and different experience. We also visit the largest mosque Jama Masjid, also known as Friday Mosque, which can accommodate about 25,000 people. On our way back, we drive by India Gate, Parliament House and President's Estate, which are all in the New Delhi. Overnight in hotel.

Day 3 - Delhi / Jaipur

We drive 260 km / 6 hrs to the Pink City of Jaipur, which is called so because of the pink paint applied to the walls of the Old City. Afternoon is free for relaxation. Overnight in hotel.

Day 4 - Jaipur

Today, we do the sightseeing of the Pink City, which is covered with fascinating architecture and history.  In the morning, we do an excursion to the breathtaking Amber Fort on Jeep. Former capital of the Jaipur state, the Fort is an ethereal example of Rajput architecture. The magnificent fort was built in the 16th century and shows a mesmerizing blend of Hindu and Mughal architecture. Later, we visit other wonders of Jaipur such as the honeycombed Hawa Mahal (Wind Palace), the Royal Observatory - Jantar Mantar and the beautiful City Palace.  Overnight in hotel.

Day 5 - Jaipur / Sawai Madhopur

In the morning, we drive 160 km / 5 hrs to Sawai Madhopur. Afternoon free to relax. Overnight in hotel.

Day 6 - Sawai Madhopur

In the morning, we take a Park Safari in the Ranthambore National Park. We have a chance of spotting the elusive tiger due to scanty vegetation. We also see other wildlife around, along with numerous species of birds. We go back to the hotel before taking another Safari later. In the afternoon, we do the Safari again. In case, we missed the tiger by a few seconds in the morning, we have another chance here. Overnight in hotel.

Day 7 - Sawai Madhopur / Fatehpur Sikri / Agra

We drive 280 km / 5 hrs to the land of Taj Mahal - Agra. En route, we visit the once capital of Mughal Empire - Fatehpur Sikri.  Later, we drive 40 km / 1 hr to Agra.  Afternoon free to relax. Overnight in hotel.

Day 8 - Agra

We visit the mesmerizing white beauty the Taj Mahal today. Built by Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal, Taj Mahal is one of the Seven Wonders of the World and is an eternal symbol of love. This majestic white structure still continues to awestruck many. Later, we also do the sightseeing of Agra Fort - a majestic sandstone structure. The Fort was earlier the residence of the Mughal dynasty and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. After the sightseeing of these historical monuments, we return to hotel for overnight.

Day 9 - Agra / Delhi / Departure

We bring this wonderful and beautiful journey to a closure and drive 220 km / 5 hrs to Delhi. After freshening up and relaxing for some hours, we transfer you to the airport for your journey back home, with the hope that you take with you warm memories.
