With the streets dotted with women donning colourful sarees and men sporting spectacular moustaches, Rajasthan is full of energy and good vibes. It is also one of the perfect destinations for you to spend time with your family. On this journey, we take you on the royal and spectacular ride through the land of Maharajas. Also, if your holiday falls during the famous Pushkar Fair, we enjoy the amazing and fun fair with music, dance and other activities.

DETAILED ITINERARY

 

 

Day 1 - Departure

Depart from your home country.

Day 2 - Delhi

Arrival at the International Airport, where you will be warmly welcomed by our representative and transferred to hotel. Later, we do an amusing rickshaw ride in the narrow lanes of the medieval styled shopping haven of Chandni Chowk. The ride is a very interesting one. We also visit the largest mosque of India - Jama Masjid (Friday Mosque). The mosque can accommodate about 25,000 people at once. On our way back to New Delhi, we drive by India Gate, Parliament House and President's Estate. Overnight in hotel.

Day 3 - Delhi / Agra

We take the early morning Shatabdi Train to Agra (dep / arr 0600 / 0805). Today, we do sightseeing of the exquisite white marble monument - the Taj Mahal. This eternal symbol of love was built by Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal. It took 22 years and over 20,000 men to construct this Wonder. Later, we also visit the massive red sandstone structure - Agra Fort. Overnight in hotel.

Note: The Taj Mahal remains closed on Fridays.

Day 4 - Agra / Karauli

After a hearty breakfast, we drive 160 km / 5 hrs to Karauli. En route, we visit Fatehpur Sikri, the once capital of Mughal Emperor Akbar. In Karauli, we visit the village markets on camel cart, slowly absorbing the village vibes as we move around. Overnight in hotel.

Day 5 - Karauli / Sawai Madhopur

From Karauli, we drive 110 km / 3 hrs to Sawai Madhopur. Afternoon free for leisure. Overnight in hotel.

Day 6 - Sawai Madhopur

In the crisp morning air, we take a Park Safari in Ranthambore National Park to see the elusive and majestic tiger along with other wildlife. The chances of spotting a tiger are good due to scanty vegetation. After the Park Safari, we return to hotel to rest and prepare for the afternoon Safari. In the afternoon, we take another safari in the National Park. If you missed spotting the tiger by a few seconds in the morning, here is another chance to see them. Overnight in hotel.

Day 7 - Sawai Madhopur / Jaipur

In the morning, we drive 160 km / 5 hrs to Jaipur. Jaipur is also called the 'Pink City' of India due to the pink paint applied on the buildings' walls of Old City. After the long drive, we have the afternoon free for relaxation / independent activities. Overnight in hotel.

Day 8 - Jaipur

Today, we do sightseeing of the Pink City. In the morning, we visit the mighty Amber Fort on Jeep. Former capital of the Jaipur state, the Fort is an ethereal example of Rajput architecture. the magnificent fort was built in the 16th century and shows a mesmerizing blend of Hindu and Mughal architecture. Later, we visit other wonders of Jaipur such as the honeycombed Hawa Mahal (Wind Palace), the Royal Observatory - Jantar Mantar and the beautiful City Palace.  Overnight in hotel. 

Day 9 - Jaipur / Pushkar

From Jaipur, we drive 150 km / 4 hrs to the holy town of Pushkar. Pushkar is an important pilgrimage centre for Hindus, with its holy lake surrounded by many bathing Ghats and temples. Pushkar is world renowned for its Pushkar Festival held annually. The city of Pushkar also has one of the few Brahma temples in the world. We do sightseeing of the Brahma temple and visit one of the 52 bathing Ghats by the side of the lake. Here, we also take a walk through the interesting local market dotted with quaint shops. Overnight in hotel.

Days 10 - 12 - Pushkar / Jodhpur (3 days' Camel Safari)

In the morning, we drive 230 km / 6 hrs to Ghantiyali. From Ghantiyali, we begin our joyous Camel Safari of 3 days across rural villages. For 2 nights, we sleep in tents under the wide and starry sky. At the end of the camel safari, we drive 150 km / 4 hrs to Jodhpur. Overnight in hotel.

Day 13 - Jodhpur

The city of Jodhpur is also donned as the Blue city due to the blue paint applied on the walls of its old city. The entire city is coloured in hues of blue and provides a calming and soothing effect. We do sightseeing of Jodhpur. We visit the muscular Mehrangarh Fort. It was built in 1459 and is the most spectacular citadel of Rajasthan, towering over the city. We also visit the cenotaph - Jaswant Thada, Clock Tower and the interesting Spice Market. Overnight in hotel.

Day 14 - Jodhpur / Udaipur

After breakfast, we drive 260 km / 5 hrs to Udaipur, leaving behind the blue hues of Jodhpur city. The city of Udaipur is also known as the 'Venice of the East' and is one of the most romantic cities, unmatched with any other city of Rajasthan. Overnight in hotel.

Day 15 - Udaipur

Today, we do sightseeing of Udaipur city. We visit the City Palace, Sahelion ki Bari - Garden of Maids of Honour. Later, we do boat ride in Lake Pichhola. Overnight in hotel.

Day 16 - Udaipur / Delhi / Departure

We take a flight from Udaipur to Delhi, and complete our last leg of the wonderful journey. Later, we transfer you to the International airport for your journey back home.
