Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 - Delhi

Arrive in Delhi and transfer to hotel.

Day 2 - Delhi / Haridwar / Rishikesh

Transfer to the railway station for an early morning train to Haridwar (arr / dep 0645 / 1122). Upon arrival, drive 1 hr to Rishikesh. In Rishikesh, visit Yoga Ashrams. Rishikesh is known as the Yoga capital of the world and thousands from all around the world come here for the ancient art of Yoga. In the evening, witness Ganga Arti by the banks of River Ganga. Overnight in hotel.

Day 3 - Rishikesh / Corbett

We drive 160 km / 6 hrs to Corbett. Corbett is well known and fabled for its Tiger richness.  It has the glory of being India’s oldest and most prestigious National Park. It is also the place where Project Tiger was first launched. Overnight in hotel.

Day 4 - Corbett – Today, we do Jeep Safari in Jim Corbett National Park and see the majestic tiger and other birds and animals. Later, we also do Elephant Safari in Dhikala, which is a great way to explore wildlife. Overnight in hotel.

Day 5 - Corbett / Nainital

Today, we drive 150 km / 4 hrs to Nainital.  Upon arrival, we visit the local bazaars and witness Arti in Naina Devi temple. Overnight in hotel.

Day 6 - Nainital / Kathgodam / Delhi

We drive 25 km / 1 hr to Kathgodam from where we board the train to Delhi (dep /arr 1535 / 2105). Upon arrival in Delhi, transfer to hotel. Overnight in hotel.

Day 7 - Delhi / Jaipur

We drive 260 km / 6 hrs to the Pink City of Jaipur, which is called so because of the pink paint applied to the walls of the Old City. Afternoon is free for relaxation. Overnight in hotel.

Day 8 - Jaipur

Today, we do the sightseeing of the Pink City, which is covered with fascinating architecture and history.  In the morning, we do an excursion to the breathtaking Amber Fort on Jeep. Former capital of the Jaipur state, the Fort is an ethereal example of Rajput architecture. the magnificent fort was built in the 16th century and shows a mesmerizing blend of Hindu and Mughal architecture. Later, we visit other wonders of Jaipur such as the honeycombed Hawa Mahal (Wind Palace), the Royal Observatory - Jantar Mantar and the beautiful City Palace.  Overnight in hotel.

Day 9 - Jaipur / Fatehpur Sikri / Agra

Today, we leave behind the colourful state of Jaipur and drive 240 km / 4 hrs to the land of Taj Mahal - Agra. En route, we stop to marvel at the majestic Fatehpur Sikri - the once capital of Mughal Empire. Later, we drive 40 km / 1 hr to Agra. Overnight in hotel.

Day 10 - Agra

We visit the mesmerizing white beauty the Taj Mahal today. Built by Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal, Taj Mahal is one of the Seven Wonders of the World and is an eternal symbol of love. This majestic white structure still continues to awestruck many. Later, we also do the sightseeing of Agra Fort - a majestic sandstone structure. The Fort was earlier the residence of the Mughal dynasty and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. After the sightseeing of these historical monuments, we return to hotel for overnight.

Day 11 - Agra / Delhi / Departure

We bring this wonderful and beautiful journey to a closure and drive 220 km / 5 hrs to Delhi. After freshening up and relaxing for some hours, we transfer you to the airport for your journey back home, with the hope that you take with you warm memories.

NOTE: The Taj Mahal remains closed on Fridays.
