DETAILED ITINERARY

 

 

Day 1 - Departure

Depart from your home country.

Day 2 - Delhi / Dehradun

Arrival at the International Airport, where you will be warmly welcomed by our representative and transferred to hotel. Briefing in IMF.  We also do an amusing rickshaw ride in the narrow lanes of the medieval styled shopping haven of Chandni Chowk. The ride is a very interesting one. We also visit the largest mosque of India - Jama Masjid (Friday Mosque). The mosque can accommodate about 25,000 people at once. On our way back to New Delhi, we drive by India Gate, Parliament House and President's Estate. In the evening, we transfer you to the Railway Station for overnight train to Dehradun.

Day 3 - Dehradun / Sankri (1950 m)

Upon arrival transfer to hotel for wash and change and breakfast.  Later, we drive 185 km / 8 - 9 hrs to Sankri. Overnight in simple guesthouse.

 

Day 4 - Sankri / Taluka (2075 m) / Chilloor Gad (2550 m)

Drive 12 km / 1 hr to a small hamlet - Taluka, which is nestled in the laps of nature and is the starting point of our trek.  From Taluka, we trek 12 km / 6 – 7 hr to Chilloor Gad.  Overnight in tents.

Day 5 - Chilloor Gad / Rain Basera (2950 m)

Trek 8 km / 6 hr to Rain Basera.  Overnight in tents.

Day 6 - Rain Basera / Ruinsara tal (3350 m)

From Rain Basera, we trek for 9 km / 6 hr to Ruinsara Tal.  It provides an impressive view of Swargrohini range. Overnight in tents.

Day 7 - Ruinsara Tal / Kiarkoti (BC) (3750 m)

We trek for 9 km / 6 hr to Kiarkoti. A grassy patch of land with boulders, Kiarkoti is surrounded by snow - clad mountains.  From Kiarkoti, we have an excellent view of the marvelous Black Peak / Kala Nag.  Overnight in tents.

Day 8 - Day 15 - Base Camp / Above Base Camp / Base Camp

From Base Camp, we have to set up three more camps - Camp I – 4150 M, Camp II – 4850 M, Summit Camp – 5500 m.  After the summit of Black Peak, we come down to the Base Camp.

Day 16 - Kiarkoti (BC) / Ruinsara Tal

From the Base Camp, we trek to Ruinsara Tal.  Overnight in tents.

Day 17 - Ruinsera Tal / Seema

From Ruinsara Tal, we trek to Seema. Overnight in tents.

​

Day 18 - Seema / Taluka / Sankri

We complete our last leg of trek at Taluka.  From here, we drive 1 hr to Sankri. Overnight in tents.

Day 19 - Sankri / Dehradun / Delhi

Drive 185 km / 8 to 9 hr to Dehradun. Transfer to hotel.  Wash n change rooms  available. Transfer to Dehradun Railway Station for overnight train to Delhi.

Day 20 - Delhi / Departure

Arrival in Delhi and debriefing in IMF.  Rest of the day at leisure.  Later, we transfer you to the International airport for your journey back home.
